| There once was the Bergama acropolis (the ancient site of the Kingdom of Pergamon), a city in the western Turkey between 4 B.C. and 4 A.D. Standing on a hill on the other side of the river, the Asclepeion was a temple sacred to the god Asclepius, the Greek god of medicine, offering hot spa therapy, psychotherapy, rehabilitation and relaxation facilities, and a coliseum, and whose ruins still remain. |

The Asclepeion was introduced to us as an ancient model of personalized medicine by Dr. Hiroyuki Abe, the director of the International Society of Personalized Medicine, a doctor’s organization that we are in the partnership with. We were deeply impressed by this ideal facility existing in the ancient times and decided to name our facility after it.
